Fake Doctor and Wife Convicted
Orger Sibaja-Bolanos, in his 60s, will spend the next 10 years in state prison for pretending to be a doctor. His wife, Rosa Perez, also in her 60s, allegedly assisted with his phony medical practice. She will spend one year in the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility with tough penalties if she violates her probation upon release. Sibaja-Bolanos ran the fake medical practice from his home. It was alleged he sexually assaulted at least two women and gave them injections while unlicensed. He entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge of conspiracy to practice medicine without a license. After his release, he has been ordered to register as a sex offender and will be on parole for the rest of his life.
