A couple is suing Emory University Hospital alleging the hospital staff of Emory University Hospital Midtown ignored the urgent medical needs of a pregnant woman who came in with severe pain and bleeding. Despite telling hospital staff about her condition the mother was left waiting for two hours without proper care. When she finally left Emory Hospital to go to Piedmont Hospital who snapped into action and could better handle her situation her unborn son had already died.
